Technology
Lighter-than-air architecture and hybrid propulsion for sustained operations between 1 and 20 km.
Lighter-than-air
Lift comes from displaced air, not wings — nothing is burned to stay aloft. Structure and envelope are sized for long-duration stratospheric flight, all-electric.
Why the stratosphere
Between 1 and 20 km: above the weather, below orbit. Thin, calm air — the platform is designed for exactly this band.
Hybrid propulsion
Ion-wind thrust with no moving parts, plus electric propellers for control authority. Together, they hold the vehicle on station in low-density air.
One platform, three jobs
Relay, observatory, sensing station — closer than any satellite, steadier than any aircraft. All three share one airframe.
Built around its systems
Mission systems are integral, not payload in a bay. Launch, station, recovery, refit — the vehicle is designed for the full cycle.
Platform at a glance
One architecture, two platforms — switch between the gen-1 low-altitude ship and the stratospheric national layer.
Configured to the mission
The airframe stays constant; the payload and concept of operations adapt to the task.
