1. Who we are
LHEVIA ("we", "us") is an aerospace company based in Roma, Italia, building lighter-than-air stratospheric platforms. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact hello@lhevia.com. LHEVIA is the data controller for the personal data described below.
2. What we collect
- Waitlist: the email address you submit, your explicit consent, and the time of consent.
- Hub accounts (authorised users only): name, work email, recovery email, role, and per-section access permissions.
- Technical logs: standard server logs (IP, timestamp, request) kept briefly for security and reliability.
We do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising or third-party tracking.
3. Why we use it (lawful basis)
- Consent — to send you waitlist and product updates. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Contract / legitimate interest — to provide and secure the Engineering Hub for authorised users.
- Legal obligation — where we must retain certain records.
4. Service providers (sub-processors)
We share the minimum data necessary with providers that help us operate:
- Cloudflare — website hosting / CDN.
- Resend — sending transactional and newsletter email.
- Proton — our inbound company mailbox (
hello@lhevia.com). - Tailscale — secure tunnel to our self-hosted API.
5. Where your data is processed
We aim to keep processing within the EU/EEA where practical. Some providers may process data outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).
6. Retention
We keep waitlist data until you unsubscribe or ask us to erase it. Hub account data is kept for the life of the account. Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security.
7. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@lhevia.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
8. Email & unsubscribe
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honour it immediately. Transactional emails (e.g. account setup) are sent only to operate a service you requested.
9. Cookies
We use only essential cookies/storage needed to run the site and keep you signed in to the Hub. We set no analytics or marketing cookies without your consent.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; we will revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
